OCTOBER 20, 2026

October 20, 2026, on the Colorado Avalanche front. This was a day of unbroken rule: nhl held the hill for all 24 tracked hours, and the crown never moved. Nobody in the elite ranks could put together an hour loud enough to take the summit.

The summit itself never fell, but the trenches were busy: 18 overtakes were logged among the elite ranks as challengers traded positions below the king.

Between them, the 8 tracked armies fired 3.9M engagements across the day. The single hottest hour belonged to nhl, who detonated 160.9K engagements in the 05:00 UTC hour alone.

In sheer volume, nhl was the loudest army of the day with 57% of tracked engagement, ahead of sportsnet (21%) and Avalanche (9%).
