AUGUST 9, 2026

August 9, 2026, on the Daniel Cormier front. This was a day of unbroken rule: bleacherreport held the hill for all 24 tracked hours, and the crown never moved. Nobody in the elite ranks could put together an hour loud enough to take the summit.

The summit itself never fell, but the trenches were busy: 9 overtakes were logged among the elite ranks as challengers traded positions below the king.

Between them, the 8 tracked armies fired 16.2M engagements across the day. The single hottest hour belonged to bleacherreport, who detonated 1.0M engagements in the 22:00 UTC hour alone.

In sheer volume, bleacherreport was the loudest army of the day with 91% of tracked engagement, ahead of calfkickmma (4%) and dc_mma (2%).
