AUGUST 1, 2026

August 1, 2026, on the Scottie Scheffler front. This was a day of unbroken rule: espn held the hill for all 24 tracked hours, and the crown never moved. Nobody in the elite ranks could put together an hour loud enough to take the summit.

The summit itself never fell, but the trenches were busy: 19 overtakes were logged among the elite ranks as challengers traded positions below the king.

Between them, the 8 tracked armies fired 84.2M engagements across the day. The single hottest hour belonged to espn, who detonated 5.7M engagements in the 00:00 UTC hour alone.

In sheer volume, espn was the loudest army of the day with 98% of tracked engagement, ahead of pgatour (1%) and freshcutsgolf (1%).
